Here is a view of the ridge over looking Butte county from my window at home in Nevada City, Ca. It's been like this for 3 weeks now. Smoke is nestled in our canyon with fires pretty much all around caused by dry lightening storms. The latest big fire is the one in Paradise. We are all hoping for the best. I lost my home back in 1988 due to similar conditions. My heart goes out to all who are involved.
